FAQ

Ordering & Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards through Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout. We never see or store your card details.

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. All prices shown include UK VAT at 20% (our VAT number is GB987256073). There are no hidden fees at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes — you can cancel free of charge any time before your order is dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible on +44 1282 270214 or at sales@ibccontainersupplies.co.uk. After delivery, you still have a 14-day right of return.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is delivery?
We charge a flat delivery fee of £65 per order, UK-wide.

How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM (GMT) on a working day begin processing the same day. Dispatch takes 1–2 business days and transit a further 3–5 business days — so 4–7 business days in total.

Do you ship outside the UK?
No — we currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.

Will I get tracking?
Yes. Tracking details are emailed to you as soon as your order is dispatched.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us you'd like to return it, and a further 14 days to send it back. See our Refund Policy for full details.

My container arrived damaged — what do I do?
Contact us as soon as possible with photos of the item and packaging plus your order number. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund. Prompt reporting helps us claim with the carrier, but your statutory rights aren't limited by a reporting deadline.

Products

What does "reconditioned" mean?
Reconditioned IBCs are professionally cleaned, fitted with new caps, gaskets and tamper-evident seals, and the condition of every unit is clearly described on its product page. Grade Two units may show cosmetic wear, staining or minor marks — this is always stated on the product page.

Which IBCs are suitable for food use?
Standard reconditioned IBCs are not suitable for food products — they are intended for non-food industrial use such as water/ballast, chemicals and waste liquids. Our rebottled units (reconditioned cage with a brand-new inner bottle) and our dedicated food-grade containers are approved for food and pharmaceutical use. Every product page clearly states whether the unit is food-suitable.

What's the difference between UN-approved and non-UN IBCs?
UN-approved IBCs are certified for storing and transporting hazardous materials. Non-UN units are for non-hazardous goods only. Each product page states which type it is.
